Registration Information

Parent Responsibilities

• Work in the classroom one day per week assisting your class teacher

• Attend one parent meeting per month, held at 7pm at the school

• Be responsible for one preschool parent job to take place outside of school hours (examples: class scheduler, fundraising rep, class health & safety rep)

• Register 2 adults each quarter with North Seattle College (NSC) for 3 credits of parent education

• Follow the rules and guidelines of the parent agreement and school handbook

Cost of Preschool

Throughout the school year you are responsible for:

• Class tuition (see class pages)

• NSC tuition for 2 adults ($53.25 per quarter per adult, subject to change)

• Annual fundraising commitments (varies annually based on budget and class enrollments, typically set as one month’s tuition)

• Scholarships are available for up to 75% of your tuition through PAC and VHCP. Email your parent coordinator for more information on this option.

Multiple Children

A parent enrolling more than one child will have full responsibilities per child including tuition, fundraising requirements, NSC registration, preschool parent job, and working in the classroom. One exception to this is that when two children are enrolled in the same class, the parent is usually only required to work one day in the classroom per week.
